I would have to say this is a very good book, it is very easy to understand, the diagrams make everything very clear. The diagrams make a HUGE difference to me. i have the shadetree mechanic background, and know a lil bit about cars. . . but was clueless as to how some of the small often overlooked parts work. example. . . a brake booster. shows all the internal components and describes what each part does. my only complaint is the diagrams could be a little more clear, just the lines run together on the drawings especially on the small parts. it was suggested to me by my boss to purchase this particular book to use for the ASE tests. he said it helped him alot when he first started in the automotive field, now he is a Certified Master Mechanic. overall i am very happy with the book. i was a lil surprised by the price, but it was worth it. if you are the shadetree guy looking for a lil more automotive knowledge, here it is.
